Acquisition of the first pool of freight wagons
In the third quarter of 2023, MW Rail purchased the first Eaos wagons
Renovation and modernization of wagons
In the first quarter of 2024, the purchased wagons underwent thorough repairs and adaptation to MW Rail requirements. Key activities:
- P5 repair – the highest possible level of repair,
- Adaptation to the requirements of the so-called “silent brakes” (composite linings and monoblock wheels) – wagons for use throughout the EU,
- Installation of GPS systems, which together with the digital platform, will support supervision and optimization of maintenance,
- Painting wagons in MW Rail colors.
